Anne Biddle Cook

Anne Biddle Cook, 73 of Perryville, MD, died Tuesday, May 9, 2006 in the Calvert Manor Healthcare Center, Rising Sun, MD. Born in North East, MD, on March 31, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Clarence I. and the late Mary Norman Biddle. Mrs. Cook was a life long resident of Cecil County. She was the owner/operator of The Last Yankee in North East, MD from 1975-2003. She enjoyed antiques, reading, crossword puzzles, politics, dining out, and generally being with people. She was the wife of the late, Eugene C. Cook who died in 1992 Survivors include one daughter: Melissa Cook-MacKenzie and husband Jeff of North East, MD, one son: Keith Biddle Cook of Perryville, MD, two sisters: Mary Jane Day of San Diego, CA, Clare B. Hazel of Port Herman, MD and one grandson, Benjamin Ryan Cook of Conowingo, MD Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 13, 2006 at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD where family and friends may call 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, May 12, 2006 . Interment will be privately held in Rose Bank Cemetery, Rising Sun, MD.
