Anna M. Whitt

Anna M. Whitt, 78 of Elkton, MD, died Saturday, April 21, 2007 at home. Born in West Virginia, on April 5, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and the late Susan Lester Yates. Mrs. Whitt was the wife of the late Aven C. Whitt who passed away on Nov. 26, 1991. She was a member of the Church of God, North East, MD. She was the "World's Greatest Mom" who enjoyed traveling, shopping and wrestling. Survivors include: two daughters: Betty Sizemore of Bud, WV, Rebecca Whitt of Eastern, KY and five sons: Calvin C. Whitt of Elkton, MD, Jesse R. Whitt of Charlestown, MD, Thomas E. Whitt of Elkton, MD, Mark W. Whitt of Elkton, MD, Michael L. Whitt of North East, MD; also one sister: Mary Wagner of Rising Sun, MD and one brother: Henry Yates of Rising Sun, MD; and 21 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where family and friends may call one hour prior to the service. Rev.
