Ann Blake Reynolds

Ann Blake Reynolds, 99, of Fallston, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on February 1, 1927, in North East, Maryland, Ann was the daughter of the late Thomas K. Blake, Sr. and Helen Moffitt Blake. Throughout her remarkable 99 years, Ann witnessed nearly a century of change, yet the things she valued most remained beautifully constant; family, friendship, kindness, and the simple joy of sharing life with those she loved.

Ann devoted much of her life to her home and family. As a homemaker, she created far more than a place to live; she created a home filled with warmth, love, and a lifetime of treasured memories. Her family was the center of her world, and caring for those she loved brought her immeasurable happiness.

Ann also had a wonderful gift for friendship. She genuinely enjoyed the company of others and cherished the friendships she formed throughout her life. She especially looked forward to gathering with her North East High school friends, a tradition they continued for many years. Those enduring friendships were a testament to Ann's loyal nature and her belief that the people who travel alongside us through life are among its greatest gifts. Ann also found great joy in gardening and took immense pride in caring for her yard. She could often be found lovingly trimming her azaleas, tending to each plant with patience and care. Her garden was a reflection of the love she poured into the things that mattered to her; a beautiful space she nurtured and enjoyed throughout the years.

Above all else, Ann treasured her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who had the extraordinary blessing of watching her family grow through several generations. She took great pride in each of them, and the love she gave so freely became the foundation of a beautiful family legacy that will continue for generations to come.

Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George C. "Chauncy" Reynolds, Jr. who passed away on April 22, 2016; her grandson, Stephen; and her granddaughter, Rachel.

She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Carolyn Rea and Karen Bradley and her husband, Kevin; her son, Alan Reynolds and his wife, Donna; her grandchildren, Chris, Alison and her husband, Vince, Kathleen and her husband, Joaquin, Maxwell and his wife, Jennifer, Chelsea and her husband, John, Danielle and her husband, Chris, Blake and his wife, Cassandra, and Claire; and her great-grandchildren, Oliver, Catherine, George, Elizabeth, and Chloe. She is also survived by Brittany Crow and her son, Logen Knox, as well as extended family members and many dear friends who were fortunate to share in her long and wonderful life.

To live for nearly a century is an extraordinary gift, but Ann's life will be remembered not simply for the number of years she lived, but for the love and memories she gathered within them. She leaves behind generations shaped by her presence, friendships that endured through the decades, and countless moments that will continue to be remembered and shared. Her life was long, her family was her greatest treasure, and her legacy of love will live on in all those who were blessed to know her.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, September 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A. 127 South Main Street, North East, Maryland. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at North East Methodist Cemetery in North East, Maryland, where Ann will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband.
