Angela Irene Hedler

Angela Irene Hedler, 78 of Elkton, MD, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Hagerstown, MD, on July 23, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Moe and Hazel (Lidie) Mercer.

Angela is survived by her loving husband: Robert F. Hedler; 3 daughters: Debbie Carden (Preston) of Earleville, MD, Becky Miller (Brian) of Rising Sun, MD and Melissa Davisson (Jeremy) of North East, MD; siblings: George McCauley of Whitesburg, GA, Patricia Harp of Hanover, PA, Lloyd "Pete" McCauley of Hamlin, NY and Darlene Spencer of Manchester, MD; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Angela was preceded in death by 4 siblings: Earl McCauley, Kathy Wallace, Sharon Tuerke, and Robert McCauley.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.

In place of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, in care of the funeral home.
