With hearts full of sorrow yet overflowing with gratitude for her life, we remember and celebrate Anden Alyse Sampson (née Weismiller), who passed away on September 5, 2025, in Peach Bottom, Pennsylvania, at the age of 35. Though her time here was far too short, she filled every moment with joy, love, and adventure.
Born on February 25, 1990, in Havre de Grace, Maryland, Anden brought light into the world from the very beginning. She lived life boldly and on her own terms. Her adventurous spirit carried her through every chapter-whether traveling, trying something new, or simply turning ordinary days into unforgettable memories. She was never afraid to dive headfirst into experiences, and her courage inspired those around her to live more fully as well.
Her smile and laughter were contagious. She had a way of brightening every room she walked into and making friends wherever she went. To know her was to feel loved, seen, and uplifted. She wasn't just surrounded by people, she was truly cherished by them.
Anden's true passion was helping and caring for others. As a dedicated caregiver with Visiting Angels, she touched countless lives with her compassion and warmth. She was beloved by all those she worked with, both colleagues and clients alike, and her presence brought comfort and strength to those in need.
At the center of her world were her children. She poured her heart into being their mother, and they were her greatest pride and joy. Whether it be cheering on Dylan at his baseball or helping coach Avery's soccer games, Anden was always there-supportive, encouraging, and beaming with pride. Together with her husband, Danny, the love of her life and partner in all things, she built a beautiful family and a home overflowing with warmth, laughter, and love.
Anden is survived by her husband, Danny Sampson of Peach Bottom, PA; her children, Avery Sampson, Dylan Sampson, Kaden Sampson, Christian Sampson, and Kyle Sampson (Allison), all of Peach Bottom, PA; her grandsons, Theo and Kash, both of Peach Bottom, PA; her loving parents, Lisa A. McClure of Perryville, MD and Roy A. Weismiller (Dino) of Jensen Beach, FL; her beloved brothers, Ryan Weismiller (Bri) of San Diego, CA and "Brother" Bo of Perryville, MD; Godfathers, Keith McClure (Karen) of Peach Bottom, PA and Kevin McClure (Missy) of Colora, MD; her Godmother, Tiffany "Tip" Vohs (Jay) of Elkton, MD; her aunt, Tracey Weismiller (Michael) of Rising Sun, MD. She is also survived by many cousins, all of whom she loved dearly.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Roy A. Weismiller Sr. and Henrietta M. Weismiller, and Glenn C. McClure and Mary L. McClure; her uncle, Troy A. Weismiller; and her cousin, TJ Weismiller.
She leaves behind not just her family, but a wide circle of friends and loved ones who will forever carry her spirit in their hearts. Though she is gone, the memories of her adventurous soul, her radiant energy, and her boundless love will live on in everyone she touched.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 05:00 PM to 08:00 PM at the Perryville American Legion (300 Cherry St., Perryville, MD 21903). In lieu of flowers, those wishing to support the family may contribute to college funds established for Dylan and Avery or to a memorial account created to help with day-to-day living expenses as they navigate this time of loss.
