Alton Bouchelle

Alton Bouchelle, 91 of North East, MD, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Autumn Lake at Calvert Manor, Rising Sun, MD.

Born in North East, MD, on May 3, 1932, he was the son of the late William K. and Mary Elizabeth (Rogers) Bouchelle.  He was the husband of the late Mary Jane Bouchelle who passed April 18, 2005.

He retired after many years of service as Head of Maintenance at Perry Point VA Medical Center, Perry Point, MD.

Alton enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and was an avid beekeeper.

Survived by one daughter: Judy Bouchelle Keithley of Elkton, MD and three sons: Allen Bouchelle of TN, Kenny Bouchelle of North East, MD and Denny Bouchelle of Elkton, MD.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Ronald Bouchelle; and his siblings: Roger Bouchelle, Doretta Stenti, William Bouchelle, Gifford Bouchelle, John Bouchelle, and Ada Edwards.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
