Alma Dean (Lawson) Taylor

Alma Dean Taylor, 82 of Port Deposit, MD, passed away at home, Tuesday, January 10, 2023.

Born in Smithfield, TN, on August 12, 1940, she was the daughter of the late, James A. and Mattie Frances (Cook) Lawson. She was also the wife of the late, Duane H. Taylor who passed July 27, 2014.

Alma loved raising her children and spending time with her family. She enjoyed word search’s, BINGO and playing card games. She spent time watching game shows and westerns, but Alma really enjoyed getting a sub at Subway.

She is survived by her children: Duane Taylor of Rising Sun, MD and Penny Lynn Thims of Port Deposit, MD; 9 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
