Alice C. (Mcmenamin) Valinote

Alice C. Valinote (nee: McMenamin) passed away July 26, 2021 in Elkton, MD.

Born in Philadelphia PA on February 27, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth (Ward) & Francis McMenamin.

Alice was predeceased by her husband, William J Valinote Sr. & her brothers, Francis (Mick) McMenamin, and John (Jackie) McMenamin.

She was the loving mother of William J Valinote Jr, (Catherine), Donna M Keller, (Gene), Mark S Valinote, (Patricia), & Karin A Kolbe (Richard); grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 5.

Alice was a longtime resident of Norwood, PA.  She was a parishioner of St. Gabriel in Norwood for the 40 years that she lived there.  During that time, Alice was in the Mother’s Club at St. Gabriel, and she made many friends there.  Alice also had great friends from the Street in Norwood, in which she shared countless gatherings over the 40 years she lived there.  Alice was a homemaker, raising four children and taking care of the house.  When she was older, Alice worked at Arby’s Roast Beef where she also made friends and really enjoyed her time working there.  Alice loved being at gatherings for birthdays, holidays and other special occasions with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.

Family & friends are invited to visit from 9:30 am to 10:45 am on Monday, August 2, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 455 Bow Street, Elkton, MD.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am.

Interment will be private.
