Alice Jeannette (Burnham) Roberts

Alice Jeannette Roberts, 93 of Baltimore, MD, passed away Monday, June 15, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Baltimore, MD, on January 21, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ethel (Wherley) Burnham.  She was the wife of the late George B. Roberts, Jr. who passed in 1970.

Jeannette worked for many years as the manager for the Maryland General Hospital Thrift Store.  She was a member of Overlea United Methodist Church and a 50 year member of Beta Sigma Phi.

She is survived by her children: George B. "Bart" Roberts, III (Robin) of Rising Sun, MD, Jane Houck (Norman) of North East, MD and Jeanine Arnt (Jay) of Loveland, CO; 6 grandchildren: Gregory Roberts, Kyle Roberts, Trevor Houck, Tyler Houck, Ryan Hohler, Marc Taylor; and 8 great grandchildren.

Graveside services, conducted by Pastor Larry Hoyle will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Parkwood Cemetery, 3310 Taylor Avenue, Baltimore, MD.
