Albert "Pete" W. Moore, Jr., 83 of Sebring, FL, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2008 at his home. He was born May 7, 1925, to Albert W. and Carlotta Heath Moore in Philadelphia, PA, and had been a resident of Sebring since 2004, moving from Elkton, MD. He was a Wool Yarn Spinner in the Textile Industry from 1949 to 1988 at Blankin Yarn, Philadelphia. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Rifleman ETO; graduated from Germantown Academy, and Colgate University, where he was a member of the Silver Puck Hockey Club. He is survived by his Wife, Violet P. Moore, Sebring; Sons, Peter H. Moore Suzy, Horsham, PA; Albert E. Moore, III, Abington, PA; Daughter, Pamela B. Hilliard, Glenside, PA; Sister, Ann M. Remington, Cockeysville, MD; six Grandchildren; two Great Grandchildren; Brother-in-Law, Lester Blankin Rosie, Wyndmoor, PA; his extended family of Brothers-in-Law and Sister-in-Law; Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother Albert W. and Carlotta Moore and his first Wife, Marilyn Blankin. A Memorial Service will be held August 2, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD 21901. Celebration of his life will follow at The Wellwood, 523 Water Street, Charlestown, MD. Memorial donations may be made in Mr. Moore's memory to Germantown Academy, P.O.
