Albert R. Hamilton, Sr.

Albert R. Hamilton, Sr., 84 of Elkton, MD, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at home.

A lifelong resident of Elkton on April 20, 1936, he was the son of the late Harry Hamilton, Sr. and Carrie (Irwin) Hamilton.  He was the husband of the late Naomi Dean Hamilton who passed February 24, 2000.

Albert retired from Joseph T. Hardy & Son, New Castle, DE as a construction foreman.

He was a lifetime member of North East Fire Company. A commercial fisherman, he also enjoyed duck and goose hunting.

Survivors include his children: Dale Fields of Elkton, MD, Sandra Sutton of North East, MD, Albert R. Hamilton, Jr. of Elkton, MD, Stephen Hamilton of PA and Donna Hamilton of Elkton, MD; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by a son: Danny Hamilton.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 12:00 noon at North East Methodist Cemetery, 101 Cemetery Road, North East, MD.
