Adele Christine (Fabi) Bell

Adele Christine Bell, 86 of Duluth, MN, formerly of North East, MD, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, on September 2, 1931, she was the daughter of the late August and Berta Fabi.  She attended Bay Ridge High School.

Mrs. Bell retired from MD State Highways where she worked as a toll collector.  She had also worked as a telephone operator.  Most of all she was a loving homemaker, who enjoyed caring for her family, was a gourmet cook and an avid gardener.

She was a lifelong member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church, Newark, DE.

Survivors include her children: Christine Brown of Duluth, MN, Lori Bell of North East, MD, Joyce Simonson of Duluth, MN, Arthur S. Bell of North East, MD and Jennifer Deel of Duluth, MN; 14 grandchildren; 53 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.  Her faith and family were the most important priorities in her life.  She will be dearly missed by her family who will remember her kind and generous nature.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband: Arthur B. Bell; and 3 grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11:00 am at The Old Apostolic Lutheran Church, 2038 Pleasant Valley Road, Newark, DE, where visitation will begin at 10:00 am until service.

Interment will follow in Bay View Cemetery, North East, MD.
