Adam Remington King, 28 of Rising Sun, MD, died suddenly Sunday, November 6, 2011. Born in Elkton, MD, on January 20, 1983, he was the son of Johney and Ramonia S. Jenkins King of Rising Sun, MD. He worked as a Pest Control Professional. Adam was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, swimming and hiking. He was a member of the 83 Cecil Rebels Soccer Team, NEHS Indians Soccer Team and Track Team from 1998-2001 and the Rising Sun Little League. He enjoyed all sports and was a diehard Phillies and Steelers fan. He also enjoyed photography and music, especially guitars. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter: Avery Rose King, the light of his life, his 'Little Do Dee'; his girlfriend: Brooke M. Yarnall of Middletown, DE; 2 sisters: Rachel E. King of Aberdeen, MD, Becca E. King of Dover, DE; many aunts, uncles and cousins including the extended Yarnall Family. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother: Barbara F. Sadler; and his paternal grandparents: Vance B. and Selma A. King. Adam was known and loved by many. All who knew him loved him. He touched so many lives. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Stephen Schappert will be held Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 2:00 PM until service time. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Avery King Trust Fund or Faithful Friends for Dogs both in care of the funeral home.
