William Lewis Wilson, 84 of Mohrsville, PA, formerly of Elkton, MD, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014 in the St. Joseph's Medical Center, Reading, PA.

Born in Princeton, WV, on October 9, 1929, he was the son of the late Walter W. Wilson, Sr. and the late Grace (Warden) Wilson.  Mr. Wilson was the beloved husband of 57 years of Twila Wilson of Mohrsville, PA.

Mr. Wilson served his country in the U S Army. He retired from W.L. Gore, Elkton, MD in 2002; and had also worked for Northeastern Plumbing Supply, Elkton, MD.

A member of Baptist Bible Church, Elkton, MD, he was a faithful Deacon and Bus Captain, instrumental in acquiring the current church property and completed all the plumbing in the new buildings.

He loved to garden, but most of all he was a loving family man, enjoying the time he spent with his family more than anything else.

In addition to his loving wife, survivors include his son: Daniel L. Wilson and wife, Loretta of Middletown, DE; his daughter: Elaine Boyle and husband, Robert of Elkton, MD; 1 brother: Walter W. Wilson, Jr. of Walterboro, SC; 3 grandchildren: Daniel L. Wilson, Jr., Shannon Boyle, Heather Wilson; and 1 great grandchild: Savannah Logan.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend William’s funeral at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where the family will receive guests on Monday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Interment will follow services in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton, MD.
