Vernon L. Bryant, 69, of 130 Conestoga Street in Charlestown, MD died of Multiple Myeloma Cancer on December 24, 2005. Mr. Bryant was born in Rollinsville, MD on July 11, 1936 and was a life long resident of Cecil County. He was a Custom Home Builder for 35 Years.-after retiring he and his wife would spend their winters in Cape Coral, Florida fishing and boating. Vernon was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church in Charlestown, MD. He served on the Colonial Commission of Charlestown and restored the Tory house as it is today. He is a past member of the Charlestown Fire Company. He was Captain of the 3rd Maryland Regiment of Charlestown from 1974 to 2005. Vernon is survived by his wife of 48 years Pauline MacGuinness Bryant. Three Children: Lou Ann Dennison and Husband Timothy of Louisville, KY. Cyndi B. Settlemyre and husband Donald of Perryville, MD. Vernon A. Bryant of Perryville, MD. Grandchildren: Torrie Bryant Bailey-Vernon, Nichole, Alicia Bryant-Savannah and Sarah Davis, Naomi Lee Dennison, Gary, Sam and Holly Settlemyre Great-grandchildren: Brady Bailey and Cody Bryant Siblings: James R. Bryant, Rising Sun, MD Ernest M. Bryant, Riverside, FL Nancy Benjamin Miller, North East, MD Vicki Benjamin Diamonte, North East, MD Kenneth Benjamin, North East, MD Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at 12:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East where friends and family may call from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
