Samantha Shirley Jane Ball

Samantha Shirley Jane Ball, 23, of Elkton, MD, died Sunday, February 7, 2016 at home with her loving family by her side, after a courageous yearlong battle with Lymphoma.

Born on May 6, 1992, she was a lifelong resident of Elkton.

Samantha worked as a dispatcher for AAA.

She was a devoted mother, spending all her time with her son and family.

Survivors include her son: Liam Shawn; her parents: Curtis and Paula (Reeder) Ball, of Elkton, MD; four siblings: Curtis Ball, Jr. (Stephanie) of Clayton, DE; Amy Ball, Kevin Ball and Kimberlee Ball all of Elkton, MD; maternal grandparents: Arthur and Shirley Reeder of North East, MD; paternal grandmother: Nancy Ball of North East, MD; and two nephews: JJ and Curtie.

Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Phil Meekins will be held Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, where the family will receive guests beginning at 10:00 am until service time.

Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to “Educational Fund for Liam” in care of the funeral home.
