Mona Lisa (Johnson) Calhoun

Mona Lisa Calhoun, 60 of Elkton, MD, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017 at home.

Born in Olney, MD, on December 24, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Mary (Delapp) Johnson.  Mona grew up in Wheaton, MD. She met her husband Michael in 1974 and was happily married for 43 years. Mona moved to Mt. Airy, MD in 1985 and lived there until 1994, at which time, she moved to Elkton, MD. Mona cherished her Avon family, where she worked in Newark DE for 14 years. Mona was also a member of Life Community Church.

Survivors include her loving husband: Michael A. Calhoun; 3 children: Michael B. Calhoun and his wife, April L. G. Calhoun, Jamie Lynn Dougall of Elkton, MD and Richard B. Calhoun of North East, MD;  1 brother: Bruce Johnson of Elkton, MD; 2 sisters: Julie Crandall of Glendale, AZ and Linda Eder of Newport, TN.  She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren: Jacob, Makayla, Xander, Dale Jr., Alyssa, Jada and Samantha.
