Margaret L. (Riggs) Sexton

Margaret L. Sexton, 85 of North East, MD, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018.

Born in Elk Mills, MD on April 22, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Graysan C. and Susan C. Riggs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Clarence Riggs, Gloria Holt, Doris Lee and William Riggs; and 3 daughters: Peggy Sue, Etta Mae and Ella Mae Sexton.

Survivors include her 7 children: Susan Hamilton, Fred Sexton, Jr. (Carla),and Connie Freese (Mark) all of North East, MD, Brenda Sexton (Jimmy Ruth) of Elkton, MD, Rick Sexton of Newark, DE, Sandy Deaver of Elkton, MD, Treasa Sexton of North East, MD; 9 grandchildren: Carrie, Steven, Daniel, Justin, Caitlin, Freddie, Tyler, Emily, Blake; and 11 great grandchildren: Jason, Madison, Devon, Isabelle, Leah, Emmett, Remi, Joey, Hayley, Mason and Harper.

She retired from W.L. Gore, Cherry Hill Plant, where she worked in Housekeeping.  Margaret was a member of the Elkton Senior Center where she spent time with treasured friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with funeral service beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the National Kidney Foundation, in care of the funeral home.
