Kaisu Rakel Palm

Kaisu Rakel Palm, 82 of Elkton, MD, died Saturday, September 26, 2009 in Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD. Born in Finland, on May 24, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Edvard and the late Hilma Salonen. She was the wife of the late Edwin H. Palm, Sr. who died on July 24, 1989. She was a member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church, Newark, DE. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and knitting. Survivors include her children: Cynthia L. Havens of Elkton, MD, Edwin H. Palm, Jr. of Rising Sun, MD, Dawn K. Palm of Battle Ground, WA and Glen R. Palm of Elkton, MD; four sisters: Alina, Eeva, Aune and Anni; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Old Apostolic Lutheran Church, 2038 Pleasant Valley School Road, Newark, DE, with visitation for family and friends beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Bay View Cemetery, Bay View, MD.
