Jerry Thomas Hewitt

Jerry Thomas Hewitt, 63 of Rising Sun, MD, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Christiana Care, Union Hospital, Elkton, MD.

Born in Elkton, MD, on November 20, 1958, he was the son of the late George Thomas and Frances (Adeline) Hewitt.

Jerry retired from W.L. Gore as a Laminator. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, remote control cars and wood working. In his younger years, he loved hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife: Teresa (Brinkley) Hewitt; children: Patrick Hall, Amanda Hall, James Hall and Samantha Day all of Elkton, MD; sister: Carol Parks of Rising Sun, MD; brother: Arthur Hewitt of Elkton, MD; and 12 grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his brother: John Hewitt.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
