Evan Patrick Mclaughlin

Evan Patrick McLaughlin, 27 of Earleville, MD, died Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE. Born in Wilmington, DE, on February 22, 1981, he was the son of Susan and John Parlier of Earleville, MD. He is also survived by his siblings: Shane Parlier and his wife Season of Liberty, IL; Jessica Johnson and her husband John; Heather Quesenberry and her husband Larry; Joshua Parlier and his wife Kati all of Elkton, MD; his fiancé, Heather M. Smith of Elkton, MD; his much loved niece and nephew: Derik and Zoe Lewis; his paternal grandparents, Robert & Theresa Parlier of Elkton, MD; Father; James McLaughlin, and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Isabel & Edward Pratte, Sr.; James and Mary McLaughlin. Evan was a kind and gentle soul, with a great wit and sense of humor. We will miss him dearly. But I could have told you Evan, this world was never meant for one as beautiful as you. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 PM. Father Chris Porteus of St. Stephen's will officiate. Interment will be private.
