Eric Steven Sadler

Eric Steven Sadler, 47 of Rising Sun, MD, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025.

He was born in Havre de Grace, MD, on April 15, 1977.

Eric was a truck driver and heavy equipment operator for Meadows Construction. He had also worked for DL Trucking, Alan Myers, Enterprise Electric, and Bramble Construction.

He enjoyed riding Harley’s, fishing, hunting, and racing at Cecil County Dragway.  His passion was working on cars and he enjoyed trucking. He loved going to and participating in the Buck Tractor Pulls.

Survivors include one son: Dylan Lee Sadler of Charlestown, MD; sisters: Vicki Brock of FL, Marsha Hamilton, Shelby Wadsworth, and Candace Sadler all of Rising Sun, MD; brother: David Sadler also of Rising Sun, MD.

He was preceded in death by his mother: Barbara Fern (Lewis) Sadler and father: Allen Rowe Sadler, Sr.; a sister: Ramonia King; and brother: Allen R Sadler, Jr.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 11:00 am at Pleasant View Baptist Church, 150 Downin Lane, Port Deposit, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow services in Bay View Cemetery, North East, MD.
