Dale Leroy Carpenter

Dale L. Carpenter, Sr. 65, of North East, MD, formerly of New Castle, DE passed away suddenly Wednesday, September 20th, 2006. Dale was born in Sidman, PA on July 14th, 1941 and is predeceased by his parents, Percy and Marie Carpenter, Brother, Kenneth Carpenter and son, Daniel A. Carpenter. Dale was survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Patricia Gonzon Carpenter, of North East, MD, formerly of New Castle, DE. Sons, Sgt. Dale L. Carpenter, Jr. and his wife Marcia of Clarksville, TN, and Dean Carpenter, of North East, MD; Daughters, Dawn Merrill and her husband Gerald, of Newark, DE; Deanna Bradley and her husband Scott, of Elkton, MD; Brothers Ronald Carpenter and his wife Joanne; Ret. Command Sergeant Major Gary Carpenter and his wife Barbara, of Midlothian, VA; Granddaughters, Brittoni and Gabrielle Bartell, Kristen and Courtney Kucharski, and Tori Carpenter; Grandsons, Robert Carpenter, Danny Carpenter, Matthew Merrill and Andrew Williams. Dale served in the U.S. Army, 101st Airborne Division and he worked for 16 years at Forbes Steel & Wire, Co. in New Castle, DE, where he earned his journeyman's status as an electrician. He retired 2
