Connie A. (Holmes) Smith
Born in Elkton, MD, on May 19, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and the late Ida (Reed) Holmes.
Connie was co-owner with her husband of KCS Trucking, a loving homemaker and had worked as a motel manager.
She was Cherokee Indian, very spiritual, and was a spirit warrior during pow wows. She enjoyed the beach. Most of all she enjoyed her family, the time spent with them and was always there for her children when they needed her.
Connie is survived by her husband: Kenneth W. Smith Sr.; 4 children: Shane Fields, Melissa Fields, Michelle Smith and Kenneth W. Smith, Jr.; a sister: Darlene Holmes and a brother: Cecil Holmes; and 9 grandchildren.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2014 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the funeral home to help with expenses.
