William Mann Obituary

William T. Mann, 39 of Newark, DE, best known to family as Bill and Brother passed away suddenly Sunday, July 1, 2018.

Born in Havre de Grace, MD, on July 26, 1978, he was the loving son of William H. and Perle Mann.

Brother was a Business Process Consultant at the DuPont Company where he worked for 18 years. He got to travel the world, which always kept a smile on his face. Billy had his pilot’s license when he was 25 and enjoyed being in the air, and enjoying all the sights life had to offer him. He was a huge WWII buff, loving the history and visiting the events, including WWII computer games. His love of Stars Wars, a love he shared with his father, was very clear to see. He was very fond of his dog “Lola” and riding historic steam trains with his father. Early in his life, he was a proud member of NEVFD. Always looking to help others in any way he could from the very beginning. His dog, Lola, was one of his biggest joys in his life. In a family overcrowded by little girls including little sis, Katie, he became everyone’s big brother and protector. He loved trains, planes and cars.

Billy is survived by his parents: William & Perle Mann of Carolina Shores, NC and his sister: Katie N. Mann of Havre de Grace, MD.

Funeral service will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 at 7:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East with the visitation beginning at 5:00 pm until service.
