Ronald Curtis “Hillbilly” McMillan, Sr., 53 of Elkton, MD, died Friday, July 27, 2018 at home.
Born in Elkton, MD, on June 11, 1965, he was the son of Redgia Franklin McMillan and Blanche Hilda (Lyall) McMillan.
Hillbilly had a love and passion for his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by daughters: Amanda Blackburn (Zachery) of Elkton, MD and Amy Spencer; sons: Ronald McMillan, Jr. (Emily) and Donald McMillan; siblings: Nancy Tyler (Roger), Tammie Lankford (Robert), Arthur McMillan (Sharon), Lonnie McMillan (Dwighty), James McMillan (Katherine) and Donald McMillan (Judy): grandchildren: Kelly, Ronald, III, Malerie, Nora, Bellanie, Phyllis, and Eliviana.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife: Phyllis T. McMillan; sister: Deborah Allen; brothers: Redgia F. McMillan, Jr., and Kenneth Frock.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Hillbilly’s funeral service on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Charlestown Missionary Baptist Church, 1168 West Old Philadelphia Road, Charlestown, MD. There will be a viewing from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.
Interment will follow services in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton, MD.
