Roger Glenn Parsons Jr. began a new journey on May 7, 2017.

He was born on May 26, 1980 on a Monday in Elkton, MD. He was an eighties kid who loved his slinky, my monster, skate boarding and dying his hair with Kool-Aid. Playing red rover, red light green light and making mud pies in the backyard. His grin slightly tilted, cheeks flushed with freckles, hair a mess of brown, every day you knew he did something or was about too, like throwing tomatoes off the roof of the house with his best friend in tow. As a teen, he enjoyed science and taking apart everything including the family Sega Genesis. Which eventually led to all his majors in college and his employment at the Science Center in Baltimore. He loved working at the different stations and showing the visitors new things. He really held close to his heart the times he spent with his nieces and nephews, playing guitar hero or watching movies. Our lives are forever changed because of the person he was and love he gave.

Glenn will forever be in the hearts and souls of his mother: Carol Mullins and her husband Roger of Elkton, MD; his father: Roger Parsons Sr. and his wife Shirley of Aberdeen, NC; his best-friends and sisters all of North East, MD: Rebecca Hagan and husband Stephen, Denise Myrick and husband Christopher, Debbie Watson and husband Matthew; his beloved godmother: Janet Ritchey of Elkton, MD: nieces and nephews: Kayla, Nick, Austin, Cameron, Halley, Jasmine, Bryan, Kassity, Mason, Zack, Will, Julian, Finn and Landon; and a tremendous amount of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends from coast to coast who loved and cherished him.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Roderick & Etta Mae Parsons; his maternal grandparents: Claude & Vivian Oliver; and an aunt: Kathy Carter.

The viewing, where friends and family may call, will be held at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD on Friday May 12, 2017 at 10 am, with a memorial to immediately follow at 11 am.
