Robert Stanley Mitchell, 76 of Perryville, MD, passed away at his home on September 18, 2016.

A lifelong resident of Cecil County, he was born on October 29, 1939, was the son of the late Stanley Z. and Laura Jean (Reynolds) Mitchell.

Robert was a retired boat salesman, employed by Jackson Marine Sales, North East, MD for over 20 years. He was an avid boater who enjoyed fishing, crabbing and was quite the outdoorsman. He also enjoyed winemaking, gardening vegetables and most recently reading.

Survived by his loving partner: Peggy Mills of Perryville, MD; son: Eric Mitchell (Carol) of Catonsville, MD; stepchildren: Robert Mills of VA, Brian Mills of Conowingo, MD and Teresa Mills of Port Deposit, MD; 9 grandchildren: Eric, Stacie, Andrew, Jessica, Savanna, Julie, David, Beth, and Leighann; 6 step grandchildren: Jensen, Taylor, Damien, Matthew, Charlie, and McKenzie; and 13 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was also predeceased by his son: Keven Mitchell and daughter: Janet Yates. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm on October 16, 2016 at the Pavilion at Jackson Marine Sales, 230 Riverside Drive, North East, MD.
