Kami Dean Ring of Charlestown, MD passed on Monday, June 10, 2013 at the all too young age of 10.

She was born on February 18, 2003 in Newark, DE.

A student at Charlestown Elementary School, Kami had just completed the 4th Grade with Perfect Attendance and on the Honor Roll.  She was awarded the John Hopkins Award for Academics.

Kami loved attending the Boys and Girls Club, Charlestown, MD.  She played the violin and liked listening to Taylor Swift.  She enjoyed baking, painting, drawing, poetry, sports, nature and dogs, especially Sadie.  She was an awesome sister!

She is survived by her mother and stepfather: Sasha and Ricky Dean of Charlestown, MD; her brother and sister: Joe and Lizzy Boileau, at home; 3 stepsisters: Hope, Brook and Roilee Ring; her maternal grandmother: Deborah Pearson; and her father: Jeremiah Guetherie all of Coos Bay, OR; her step paternal grandfather: Richard Dean of Fort Mohnke, AZ; and her many friends at school and at the Boys and Girls Club.

Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Dennis Gilbert, Sr.  will be held Monday, June 17, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM.

Interment will follow services in Charlestown Cemetery, Charlestown, MD.

Ten years was not enough time for Kami to share all the love in her heart.  While her time was short, yours is still going on. Share your love with others in memory of Kami.  The Boys and Girls Club of Cecil County will be handling all expressions of sympathy for Kami's family.  Donations will be used to establish a scholarship in her name to help other children.   Please make your donation to: Boys and Girls Club of Cecil County, 101 East Main Street, Elkton, MD 21921, marking Kami Ring Fund in the memo line.
