Frank W. Pratt, Sr., 80 of North East, MD, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 in the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.

Born in Kanakanak, AK, on July 19, 1936, he was the son of the late Harry D. and Cornelia (Williams) Pratt.  He was the husband of A. Jean (Lewis) Pratt who passed away on March 8, 2003.

Frank was a graduate of NE High School Class of 1954.   He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army, Military Police, Company E from 1955-1960.  After his discharge, Frank worked for Getty/Texaco Oil Company, retiring as an Operations Supervisor in 1997 after 37 years of service.

He was a Life Member of the VFW Post 6027, North East, MD; a member and past President of Cecil County Waterman’s Association; member of MD Waterman’s Association and a member of St. Mary Anne's Episcopal Church, North East, MD. 

Survivors include: two daughters: Katherine P. Jamison (Tom) of North East, MD, Lauri P. Crothers (Michael) of North East, MD, and one son: Frank W. Pratt, Jr. (Kim) of Houlton, ME; a brother: Henry D. "Pip" Pratt (Carol) of North East, MD; 10 grandchildren: Andrew, Amy, Anna, Emily, Molly, Julia, Gannon, Alana, Evelyn and Henry;  2 great grandchildren:  Amelia and Nolan;  dear family friend: Jeff Ritter of Perryville, MD; sister-in-law: Suzy Lewis-Conklin of Perryville, MD;  and brother-in-law: Charlie Lewis of Hypoluxo, FL.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.

Private family burial will be in St. Mary Anne’s Cemetery, North East, MD.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Anne’s Episcopal Church, in care of the funeral home.
