Earl Eugene Combs, Sr., 81 of Rising Sun, MD, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Laurelwood Care Center, Elkton, MD.

Born in Coal City, WV, on July 6, 1936, he was the son of the late Oscar and Ella (Coalson) Combs. 

He retired from Eastern States Construction, as a foreman.

Survived by his wife: Iris Combs; two children Earl E. Combs Jr. of Smyrna, DE, and Brenda Privett of North East, MD; his siblings Duane Combs, Roscoe Combs, Doris Blevins all of North East, MD and Eulla McCoy of Rising Sun, MD; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Friday, August 11, 2017 at 11:00 am at North East Methodist Cemetery, 101 Cemetery Road, North East, MD.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to help with funeral expenses to Crouch Funeral Home.
