Doris Ann Lloyd, 78 of Elkton, MD, died Friday, December 8, 2017 at home, surrounded by her loving and caring family.

 Born in Elkton, MD, on January 22, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Margaret R. (Frame) Stewart.

She was an office manager, employed by the Cecil County Health Department for 18 years before retiring.

 Doris was a 25 year member of the North East Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, where she had proudly served as President and Treasurer. She was also a member and officer of the Cecil County Ladies Auxiliary, Elkton VFW Ladies Auxiliary, LAMSFA and was a Cecil County tax coordinator.

Survived by three sons: Dale L. Hitchcock of Newark, DE, Kenneth Hitchcock, Jr. of Gerradstown, WV and Irvin Hitchcock of Newark, DE; sister: Barbara Tomlin of Hearst, TX; and two brothers: Charles C. “Saltwater” Stewart of North East, MD and Vernon Stewart of Elkton, MD.  She is also survived by her grandchildren: Tamyka Yancey, Gloria Yancey, Michael Schank, Daina Montgomery, Anthony Cirulli, Travis Schnee, Samantha Hitchcock, Lori Mayle, Lani Mayle, Kelly Jackson, Carrie Jackson, Brittany Dill, Paige Hitchcock and Tesla Hitchcock; great grandchildren: Monique Miller, Dylan Woodin, Rylea Long, Kameron Schank, Shiloh Schank, Kailyn Montgomery, Aniya Harris, Logan Montgomery-Wichess, Aidan Montgomery-Wichess, Brian McHenry, Deshawn Mayle, Jason Elliott, Arianna Mayle, Alexis Mayle, Trapper Wheatley, Andrew Bingham, Adrian Murray, Jamarco Murray, Kymani Murray, Amani Murray, Zeilani Murray; great great grandchildren: Abrielle Montgomery, Caleb Kyle and Madison Wilson.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter: Robin Soots; son: Michael Hitchcock; brother: Raymond Stewart; and sister: Betty Crawford.

Friends may call Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Funeral service, conduct by Father John Schaeffer will be held at 3:00 pm.

A repass supper will be held immediately following the funeral at 4:00 pm at the Elkton Fire Department.

Memorials may be made to the North East Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary in care of the funeral home.
