David Lee Sheets, 50 of North East, MD, died Sunday, November 12, 2017 in Union Hospital, Elkton, MD.

He was born in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, on December 26, 1966.

Prior to his retirement, David worked as a Master Electrician at Chrysler.  He enjoyed fishing and boating.

Survivors include his mother: Sandra (Penrow) Sheets of North East, MD; 2 children: Kari Thompson of Elkton, MD and David L. Sheets, Jr. of North East, MD; 2 sisters: Virginia Sheets and Patricia Handy both of North East, MD; 4 granddaughters: Chloe, Kali, Kinley, and Kyleigh; and 2 nieces: Sandra Fitzgerald and Hailie Hardiman.

He was preceded in death by his father: William Reed Sheets, Jr.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
