Constance "Connie" (Pawley) Waddell

Constance “Connie” Waddell, 63 of Charlestown, MD, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 29, 2018 in Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD.

She was born in Wilmington, DE, on October 10, 1954.

Prior to her retirement, Connie was a nurse.  She enjoyed boating, gardening and visiting the ocean.  Most of all she loved her family and they were the focus of her life.  She was the best wife and mother anyone could ask for. She always put a little extra into everything she did.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years: Ronald E. Waddell; her daughter: Rhonda Rinehart and grandson: Nick Rinehart both of Charlestown, MD; her mother: Anna May (Walls) Pawley Lewis of Newark, DE; a brother: Clarence Pawley of Newark, DE; and 2 half-sisters: Gail Kennedy of Fort McCoy, FL and Pam Lewis Owen of Newark, DE; close cousin: Becky Price of Dover, DE; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father: William Pawley; brothers: Charles and Clifford Pawley; and half-brother Billy Lewis.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 7:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 6:00 pm.
