Ruth Ann McPeak, 62 of Elkton, MD, died Friday, June 24, 2005 in the Christiana Hospital, Christiana, DE. Born in Havre De Grace, MD, on August 29, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Ralph F. and the late Margorie Culley Christensen. She was the wife of the late Richard C. "Sonny" McPeak, Sr., who died in 2000.Mrs. McPeak was a homemaker, she worked as a clerk with Aberdeen Proving Ground, and she also delivered newspapers for the Cecil Whig.In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Bobby Culley, Jr., Ralph F. Christensen, Jr., and Beverly Jones.Survivors include her step-mother, Margie Christensen of Aneston, AL; her children, Robin Pardew, Roberta Lynn McPeak, Regina L. McPeak , and Richard C. McPeak, Jr. all of Elkton, MD, and Rhonda Sue McPeak of Conowingo, MD;Siblings, Clarice Loerop of Del Ray, FL, Joyce Altman of Fredericksburg, VA, Mary Shenberger and Sheila Keller both of Aberdeen, MD, Phillip Christensen of Spring Hill, FL, Rose Perry of Louisiana, David Christensen of Aneston, AL, Patricia Christensen of Demoine, IO, step-sisters, Deborah Rice of Elkton, MD and Helen Davis of North East, MD; Grandchildren, Tyler McPeak, Brittany Sprouse, Matthew Sprouse, Kristie Ann Pardew, Tommy Wayne Pardew, Jr., Amanda Lynn Pardew, Jessica Marie Pardew, Nicholas McPeak;Special friends, Cindy Reber and Ruth Ann Sargent; and many nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 27, 2005, at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, June 26, 2005 at the funeral home.Rev. David Landers of Gateway Baptist Church will officiate.
