Robert Skiles “Bob” Wettig, III, 48 of Elkton, MD, died Saturday, May 6, 2017.

Born in Lancaster, PA, on July 13, 1968, he was the son of Robert S., II and Susan (Thompson) Wettig.

He was a project manager, employed by Tri State HVAC, Conshohocken, PA.  Bob was a kind, loving and gentle soul. Everyone he met became his friend and when you became his friend, you also became his family. Though the world has lost the greatest man, heaven has gained a perfect angel. As he always said, “It’ll be ok, life is good.”

Survived by his fiancé, soulmate and best friend: Linda Haass of Elkton, MD; one daughter: Kristan Wettig of Perryville, MD; and three sons: Brandon Wettig and wife Lauren of Darlington, MD, Mitchell Wettig and wife Erika of Charlestown, MD and Taylor Skiles Eaves-Brown of Lancaster, PA; stepdaughter: Amanda Haass and her companion James Cullen of North East, MD;  sister: Lori Halfen and husband Ken of Earleville, MD; grandchildren: Jade, Joshua, Layla, Teagan, Jase, and Mitchell, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.

Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Bert Jicha, will be held Friday, May 12, 2017 at 11:00 am at North East United Methodist Church, 308 South Main Street, North East MD. There will be a viewing from 10:00 am until service time.

Interment will be in Brookview Cemetery, Rising Sun, MD.
