To the families of Patricia Walbeck Murphy. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I met Patti when we were going through Job's Daughters together. She was a very nice lady. I reconnected with her on Facebook last year. She remembered me right off the bat. I loved all of her posts. I'm keeping the family in my prayers.

Patty,

My heart is broken. I just found you on Facebook 6 months ago and you have been such a huge support to me during my breast cancer diagnosis and multiple surgeries. You posted to me "I will make you laugh every night until your cancer is gone". My cancer is gone and so are you. Thank you for the laughs, the memories, the walk down St. Mary Annes youth group and fun times. I will miss you.

My heart goes out to your father, your sister Barbara and your brother David. And to your beautiful children that you were so proud of. May their hearts heal.

God speed Patty and thank you for the laughs.

Allison

Dear Family and friends of Patty, I graduated with Patty who was always the most happy person in the room, her eye was always looking to the future, she was an inspiring or irritating personality, depending upon your point of view! but always a girl to get you going. She was my field hockey captain, if I remember right, She was a wonderful organizer among a bunch of teenage eye-rollers, (me) and was always an encouragement. She was grown-up, I always thought, and led us the right way. I never wanted to disappoint her. She had my respect. Dear children of Patty, you must have this in you. Your mom was so good. I lost my mom too early, and it never feels the same, life shifts, thats for sure. But glean what you can of her and pass it on. That's her legacy.

Heartbroken to hear of Patty's passing...We were high school friends and cheered
for the wrestling team often getting in trouble for all our chatting and goofing off. She was always so much fun and always smiling. She would stop by my hair studio to just chat and make me laugh. She will be missed but find comfort knowing she's with our Heavenly Father and her sweet mother.

I met Pat when were where in high school and worked together at Ponderosa. Later our paths crossed while our children attended Good Shepherd Catholic School. Her smile was contagious. We worked together on many events in support of the school. My fondest memory was the 1st Annual Good Shepherd Pig Roast and Auction, which occurred on the same day as the Kentucky Derby. In the spirit of the Derby, Pat ensured we all wore big floppy hats and sipped on Mint Juleps. It was such fun day.

I went to high school with Patty and although I no longer live in the area, i'd been in touch with her on several occasions over past couple years. She had such a beautiful, outgoing personality and a great sense of humor. I'll remember her with a smile (and often a joke or two!) for everyone. She was surely special and will be missed.
My thoughts and prayers most especially to her family.

Pat, may God finally bless you with peace and knowing that you were loved by many.

I am feeling so heartbroken my dear, sweet kind, gentle, beautiful, and loving friend at the thought of never having another long and endless conversation of laughter and tears; of never fulfilling all our travels plans to see the world and to live la vida loca; or of never experiencing all our dates of silliness, movie nights, listening to music, discussing political and spiritual topics, hiking to the lighthouse, riding horses, going to the beach, and summer fun we had planned; or of never attending our reunion together and helping each other look spectacular; and of never enjoying our picnic on your father's dock dipping our toes in the cool water with the warm sunshine on our faces.

You came into my life, became a best friend, provided so much love and support, created our sisterhood, called us twins (me toos), and now my soul sister you left with half of my heart. May you find peace in the arms of your heavenly Father, be reunited with your wonderful mother, and love of your life Bob.

Our world of darkness grieves the loss of an angel, our Pat, who could light up the world with her smile, who was such a positive, optimistic, beautiful soul that God just could no longer do without her by his side.

I pray for your children to find peace and to be able to continue their lives knowing that they were always at the center of your heart and the loves of your life. May they find peace in the thought that this is not our permanent home and that they will one day be reunited with their loving, beautiful mother. I pray for your father and siblings to find peace in this tragedy. I pray for all your family and friends who loved you that they are able to find peace as well in their loss of you, our angel on earth.

Most importantly, I thank you for being my friend and sharing your life with me. I will forever and always love and remember you. You will forever live in my heart my soul sister until we have the opportunity to meet again. — feeling broken.

I am too sad to say very much. Technically my first friend since we knew each other from birth. I wish I could have been there for her more than I was. I had no idea she had so many struggles. I know she has found peace and is with her Mom laughing and smiling. She was a good person.

Your daughter, sister, and mother was one of my childhood friends from elementary to high school. She was so smart and fun to be around. I will never forget the endless days of playing with our Barbies. She always shared her home made pinwheel cookies with me at lunch. We use to stand outside of her house down by the river and sing songs. in elementary school we use to compare notes on whether to wear pants or skirts for our school pictures. I remember feeling so sad one year for my birthday cause it had snowed real bad and I didn't think her and Debbie Reynolds would be able to make it to my house for my slumber party but they did and I was so happy to see her pull up in her parents car. The next day me and her and Debbie ran out into the snow and built a snowman and made snow angels. We had slumber parties and birthday parties and proms. I can see her in her Indians cheerleading skirt and saddle shoes with a big smile on her face. I'm sorry for any struggles she endured and any heartbreak she felt. She loved all of you so much. She's at peace now and I'm joyful for that but that doesn't mean I won't be missing her. I'm praying you will find comfort at this trying time
