Julie and Family,

Our paths have crossed many times since the 1970's. The most endearing time was in 1987 when we were appointed to our first pastorate, the Annapolis Church of God. Prior to our ministry in Annapolis, you and Pastor Massie went to Annapolis to pastor your first church and build the church facility that we would later minister in. During separate years, our families both lived in the same parsonage on Severn Avenue.

Over the years, we stood and talked at many state and international conferences. We will always cherish the time you spent with us.

Your family is in our prayers during this difficult path in your lives. May the presence of the Holy Spirit comfort you and lead you until the shadow of death to your eternal resting place to be joined with your loved one in heaven someday. For now, Pastor Massie is waiting for all of us to join him in the presence of the trinity.

I am so sorry to hear of Pastor Massie's passing. He was very special to me and I called him my Pastor whenever I came to MD to visit my son and his family. He always made me feel at home away from home. He will be missed but not forgotten.

I first remember Brother Massie from when he was going to Northwest Bible College in Minot, ND, and my father was pastoring a church in Lignite, ND, about 80 miles away. He came and preached for our church. He was an anointed speaker. He struggled to be able to afford his education in Ministry, but he and his wife felt it was worth it. He wanted to be truly prepared when he went into pastoral work. I appreciated him and his wife. My heart goes out to all his family. Hike missing him on earth, remember to look forward to enjoining him in heaven.

Prayers for comfort to Renee, Deana, Darin & Gail. My Uncle Ralph was THE best man I've ever known. He was my Angel on earth. In my very darkest hours a phone call always brought him to my side. As a little girl I was so proud to watch him stand at the pulpit and preach. He was a true man of God. I loved him so very much!

Sending my heartfelt condolences to the Massie family. I remember coming to church with my cousins when Rev Massie was pastor at the Boonsboro church. These Sundays left an impression on my heart. I also remember the girls from high school, not in the same grade but their spirit could be felt by all. One condolence is knowing that Rev Massie is in Heaven with no more pain or suffering and will be there to happily greet his family as each one arrives.

Pastor Massie was one of the kindest men I’ve ever know. Although I never attended his church, I knew him through my place of employment and he knew my daughter from Pier One. He was always happy and so loving towards everone. He was a true man of God, and will be missed. Prayers and thoughts from Megan and I to Miss Julia, his daughters and the rest of his family. God bless you all.
