Michael Edward Kennedy September 15, 1960 – June 16, 2017

The Lord called Michael Kennedy to join his sisters Maxine and Josephine (Monroe), his mother Arezelia V. (nee Massey), brother Robert and father Walter E. Kennedy, along with many lifelong friends who had gone on ahead for that ultimate family reunion. He leaves his wife Carol Corral and her family, especially his stepson, Kurt Corral, with a void that can never be filled. He also leaves his brothers Jeffrey in Millington, Dana in Galena, Walter and his wife Dalvis in Chestertown, Donald Lee in South Carolina, and several nieces and nephews.

Renowned for his humor, his generous nature, love of good music and a good party, he will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. His entire hometown of Pondtown, Maryland is a big extended family which held a very special place in his heart.

His US Army career of 12 years ended in 1992, but his service to his country was extended for another 21 years with his employment with the Department of Veterans Baltimore Regional Office. He had an exceptional work ethic and a devotion to the veterans he served. His co-workers were like family.

Services will be held at a later date.
