Dear Amy,

I am so late with sending you my sympathy upon the death of your dear Earl. Cathryn told me long ago, but we did some traveling this summer and were not always here. Please accept our condolences and know that you and your family are in our prayers as Earl rests in peace with the Lord. Miss you both.

We have so many happy memories of quality time spent with this so special man and the love of his life, Amy. Sharing philosophies, solving world problems, laughing or groaning over the latest news headlines, retelling special moments in each of our lives. And happily we have two VERY special paintings hanging in our home that will forever remind us of Earl's talent and generous spirit. God Bless you, Earl-and Amy-know that you are loved.

My sincere and heartfelt condolences to Earl's family. I knew Earl as a VIP at North East Barrack while I was assigned there. He was a very gentle and caring person. He will be missed.
