Kathryn A. Williams, 93 of Rising Sun, MD, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in the Calvert Manor Healthcare Center, Rising Sun, MD.

Born in PA, on December 25, 1922, she was the daughter of the late James Vernon and Amy Elizabeth (Wagner) McWilliams.  She was the wife of Edward M. “Stump” Williams who preceded her in death on February 28, 1998.

She was a graduate of the North East High School Class of 1941.

Survivors include her children: Pauline W. McMullen (Merritt) of Rising Sun, MD, Judy A. Clayton (Jim) of Perryville, MD, Jean E. Villani (Jim) of Pittsburgh, PA and Kenneth L. Williams (Donna) of Elkton, MD; two sisters: Elsie Stewart of Charleston, WV and Pauline Sheaffer of Newark, DE; 11 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am until service time.

Interment will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery, Rising Sun, MD.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ebenezer UM Church, in care of the funeral home.
