June E. Ford, 83 of Elkton, MD, died Saturday, January 9, 2016 in the Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD.

Born in Klondike, MD, on June 23, 1932, she was the daughter of Sherman and Anna (Miller) Ewing.  She was the wife of Burns A. Ford, Sr. who preceded her in death on March 11, 1999.

She was a seamstress, employed by J. C. Penny before her retirement. After her retirement she worked at Pier One Restaurant in North East, MD.

June is survived by her son: Burns A. Ford, Jr. of Elkton, MD and daughter: Sharon Ewing of Snow Hill, MD; sister: Virginia Ewing of Elkton, MD and brothers: Gilbert Ewing of Elkton, MD, Donald Ewing of Rising Sun, MD; and 5 grandchildren: Robert H., Skip, Anna Renee, Michael Phillip and Madison Marie Ford.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother: William E. (Sonny) Ewing, Sr. and a sister: Irene (Ewing) Edwards.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A.,127 South Main Street, North East, MD. There will be a viewing from 10:00 am until service time.

Interment will be in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD
