Juanita Ann Goodwin, 71 of Rising Sun, MD, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 at home.

Born in Elkton, MD, on January 26, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Porter Bennett and Catherine (Alexander) Goff.

Juanita retired from Aberdeen Proving Ground where she worked as a Data Specialist. Many years ago, she umpired girls’ softball games.

Juanita is survived by one son: Brian K. Lloyd of Perryville, MD; two brothers: John Goff of Perryville, MD and Frank Goff of Kingsville, TX; one grandson; her niece: Tammy Dowd of Charlestown, MD; and caregivers: Sharon L. Jones and Mikkol Eder.

In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her daughter: Debbie Lloyd; brother and sister-in-law: William and Brenda Goff.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am until service time.

Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
