Jonathan Hughes Obituary

Jonathan G. Hughes, 69 of Port Deposit, MD, died Monday, February 19, 2018 in the Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace, MD.

Born in Havre de Grace, on September 20, 1948, he was the son of the late Warren Anthony and Ivagene (Yohn) Hughes.

Mr. Hughes retired from Chrysler after 30 years of service. He enjoyed playing cards and sports.

He is survived by a son: Jason Y. Hughes (Beth) of Winston-Salem, NC; his siblings: Victoria Ligotti (Tony) of Las Vegas, NV, Melissa Gurney (Allen) of Washington, UT, Stephanie Hodges of Las Vegas, NV, and Jeffrey Hughes (Liz) of Conowingo, MD; 6 grandchildren: Brittney Ellis of Louisville, KY, Dakota Ellis of Crestwood, KY, Casey Mateika of McNabb, IL, Brandy Seisterup (Nick) of San Marcos, CA, Alex and Hanna Hughes both of Winston-Salem, NC; his niece: Lynette Matricciani (Tony) of North East, MD; nephew: Brandt Russell of North East, MD; and his goddaughter: Ashley Raines.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter: Michele Ellis; and his brother: Joe Russell.

Services were private.
