Eric D. Thuresson, 49 of Townsend, DE, died suddenly Thursday, January 14, 2016 in the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.

He was born in Wilmington, DE, on July 19, 1966.

Eric was a Technical Advisor for Dow Chemical Systems, Newark, DE.   He was very much a family man, constantly providing strength, laughter and unconditional love to them. He was recognized for his awesome puns, intelligence and love of quality music.

Survivors include: his loving wife: Lisa M. Thuresson; two daughters: Olivia A. Thuresson (partner, Nicole) and Kate V. Thuresson (partner, Robert Harvilla, Jr.; and granddaughter Isabella Charlotte Harvilla, all of Townsend, DE; his father: Arne Thuresson of Harrington, DE; one sister: Leah K. Grzybowski (husband, David) of Wilmington, DE and one brother: Dana P. Thuresson (wife, Karen) of Elkton, MD; an aunt: Judy Hall of North East, MD; and many awesome nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother: Charlotte Ann (Hopkins) Kelly.

Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Bert Jicha will be held Monday, January 18, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where Eric’s family will received guests on Sunday evening, from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National MS Society, Delaware Chapter, in care of the funeral home.
