Elinor Lynch Schrack, 89 of Ambler, PA, formerly of North East, MD passed away Friday, October 13, 2017.
Born in North East, MD, on August 3, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Joseph J. and Esther (Clark) Lynch.
Prior to her retirement, Elinor was a teacher at North East Elementary and Bells School, Washington Twp, NJ. While teaching in NJ, she was presented the Governor’s Award for Teaching Excellence in the State of NJ.
She enjoyed baking, knitting and sailing.
Survivors include her husband: Richard Way Schrack; their daughter: Sharon Beales (Jeff) of Bethlehem, PA; and two grandsons: Donald Beales and Michael Ballato.
In addition to her parents, Elinor was also preceded in death by her siblings: Isabelle Lynch, Robert Lynch, Louise Lynch and Edith Rose Walbeck.
A memorial service, conducted by Father John Schaeffer will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Anne's Episcopal Church, 315 South Main Street, North East, MD, followed by interment in the Christine Cameron Memorial Garden in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
