Dorothy A. (Gilbert) Hudler, 79 of North East, MD passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016, at 12:05 am in Union Hospital, Elkton, MD.

Born in Harford Co., MD on March 18, 1937, she was the daughter of Jesse and Annie Gilbert. She was the wife of Robert W. Hudler, Sr. who preceded her in death April 19, 1994.

Dorothy was a member of the First Baptist Church of North East, MD and served in several positions. She drove a school bus for 12 years and also worked as a GNA at Calvert Manor Nursing Home. She enjoyed gospel music. However, her best times were travelling with Bob and visiting friends.

Survivors include her four children: Robert W. Hudler, Jr. (Nancy), Richard Paul Hudler (Debbie), Linda Gocolinski, Sharon Ruth Hudler all of North East, MD; three grandsons: Kurt Robert Hudler (Erica) of West Chester, PA, Craig William Hudler and Jonathan Kyle Hudler of North East, MD; and one special great granddaughter: Riley Madison Hudler of West Chester, PA.

.In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

Funeral services will be graveside by Rev. Robert Hall for family and friends at Union Cemetery, Elkton, MD at 10:30 am on Saturday, June 18, 2016 with a memorial service conducted by Rev. Dr. Stephen D. Hokuf to follow at 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church of North East, North East, MD. A fellowship meal will follow.
