Donald Joseph Julien, Sr. 78 of North East, MD, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at home.

Born in Chester, PA, on August 17, 1939, he was the son of the late Erin Ray and Anna (McCaffery) Julien.  

He served his country proudly in the U.S. Marines.

Prior to his retirement, Mr. Julien was an electrician for over 37 years, working for Amtrak.

He enjoyed fishing and playing the guitar.

Survivors include his loving wife: Constance Jean Julien; 4 children: John Edward Rogers of North East, MD, Deborah McClellan of Palm Coast, FL, Samuel William Rogers, Jr. of Port Deposit, MD and Donald Joseph Julien, Jr. of North East, MD; 2 sisters: Elizabeth and Daisy, both of NC; 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Phil Meekins will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where visitation will begin at 10:00 am until service.

Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Elkton, MD.
