Delbert W. Taylor, Jr., 63 of North East, MD, died Sunday, November 13, 2016 in the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.

Born in Elkton, MD, on December 31, 1952, he was the son of the late Delbert W. Taylor, Sr. and the late Marjorie L. (Slatky) Taylor.  

Prior to his retirement, Mr. Taylor worked in construction as a concrete finisher.

He enjoyed his friends, playing jokes on people, cards, jigsaw puzzles, camping and fishing. Delbert had a big heart and was always eager to help anyone when needed. He loved his dogs.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years: Rose Taylor; and two sisters: Marilyn A. Blankenship (Bobby) of Elkton, MD and Deborah A. Bowen (David) of North East, MD.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 6:00 pm until service time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the funeral home.
