Billy Lee Short, 30 of Elkton, MD, died Saturday, May 5, 2007 in the Union Hospital Of Cecil County, Elkton, MD. Born in Elkton, MD, on October 10, 1976, he was the son of Billy Lee Short, Sr. of Raven, VA and the late Teresa Jean "Pete" Dean Short who died September 3, 2002. Billy worked as a mason and enjoyed playing pool and bingo. In addition to his father, Billy Lee is survived by two aunts: Dollie Isaacs and her husband Otis Isaacs, Jr.; Linda Walls and her husband Arthur Walls; also his cousins: Melissa Lisa Colvin and her husband John; Robin McCann and her husband John; Otis Isaacs III and his wife Charlotte; Carol Halsey and her husband Greg; Dawn Chadwick and Dave Smithburger; Jeffrey Isaacs and his fiancee Stephanie Reynolds; and Mary Beth Weaver. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his grandparents, Carl and Edna Short; and Cecil and Pauline Polly Dean. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at 3:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD where family and friends may call starting at 2:00 PM, prior to the services.
